With its o-ring seal, the UltraBox is waterproof, airproof and moisture proof – providing the ultimate in light weight protection. The panel ring insert allows users to incorporate a rigid panel, typically used as an instrument panel, to transform the case itself into a portable electronic instrument. The panel ring is located half an inch below the rim of the case and features brass threaded inserts (8-32) into which the rigid panel may be inserted.
